Restylane® and Perlane®
Restylane® and Perlane® are cosmetic dermal fillers that replace volume and restore youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds).
Restylane® and Perlane® have well-defined safety profiles. Restylane® has been used in over 1.4 million treatments in the United States and is available in more than 70 countries. It is the most studied dermal filler in the world, with dozens of publications in medical literature. Clinical studies have shown no significant differences in the levels of safety between Restylane® and Perlane®.
Restylane® and Perlane® are made of hyaluronic acid. In the human body, natural hyaluronic acid provides volume and fullness to the skin. The hydrophilic, or "water loving", nature of the hyaluronic acid molecules in Restylane® and Perlane®, and their three dimensional structure, allows them to bind many times their own weight in water. As the hyaluronic acid begins to degrade, each molecule binds to more water molecules, which helps the skin to maintain its volume for about 6 months after treatment.
Beautiful Results that last for about 6 months

Juvederm®
JUVÉDERM® is a ‘next generation’ family of smooth, long-lasting gel dermal fillers and is the latest advance in hyaluronic acid cosmetic filler technology. Over recent years, hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar found naturally in the body, has become a favored compound for replenishing the areas of the face where the skin’s volume and fullness has been lost.
In the body, hyaluronic acid fills the space between collagen and elastin fibers of the skin. It is present in all living cells. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water molecules, hydrates, and gives the skin smoothness and volume. However, as the body ages, the ability of the body’s cells to manufacture their own hyaluronic acid is diminished, which results in the loss of skin volume and the production of folds and wrinkles.
JUVÉDERM® is biosynthetic and of non-animal origin. Since it is not created from an animal source, there is little chance of allergic reaction. The formula is highly biocompatible and no testing is required prior to administration. It has been proven to be safe and effective for skin of all types and colors.
The main difference between JUVÉDERM® and other popular hyaluronic acid fillers is that JUVÉDERM® has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid and is produced with a special formulation process that makes it smoother than other popular gel fillers. These other gels utilize a suspension process with visible particles. JUVÉDERM® is completely transparent.
The higher concentration of hyaluronic acid and the smoother formulation make JUVÉDERM® long-lasting (up to six months or longer), easier to fill with, and should produce more natural and even effects with minimized patient discomfort at the injection site. As with other hyaluronic acid fillers, JUVÉDERM® is naturally and gradually absorbed into the body.
